The Barnet Symphony Orchestra is a thriving group of over 40 players based in North London. We perform 3 concerts each year, typically in December, March and July.
We play from the standard orchestral repertoire with a few additions every now and again and our aim is always to play to a good standard and to enjoy playing together.
We rehearse on Monday evenings at Hendon School, Golders Rise (NW4) and always welcome new players (particularly strings). If you're grade 6 and above or have played in orchestras before then you shouldn't have any problems. There are no auditions - come along for a rehearsal or two and if you like us then and want to continue then you're very welcome to join.
Our fees are £50 per term with a £30 concession rate and plan to keep them at this rate for the forseeable future.
