Barnsley Oddfellows

Long established social and benevolent organisation offering a wide range of social activities plus benefits and services for members. We have over 1,000 members, men & women, singles & couples across South Yorkshire with local groups meeting in most major towns. We aim to be the first choice for leisure activities and support for the over 50s. We are the oldest and best club in South Yorkshire: our Barnsley Branch started in 1817 (but it is untrue that some original members still attend!). We hold regular social meetings on the last Thursday of each month (excl August & December) 7.30pm at the Boatmen's Rest, Edmunds Road, Worsbrough Dale, Barnsley S70 4DT.
