Barn Dance, Ceilidh, Country Dance, Folk Dance - Whatever you call it: that's what we do.
We dance in St Anne's Church Hall, Park Hill, Moseley, Birmingham, West Midlands, B13 8DU
Starting at 8.00, going on to 11.00. (The hall is behind the church, please park in the road).
We hold three or four dances most months.
For current programme see "Activities" (below left).
We have many single members so it's not necessary to come with a partner.
We often change partners.
The folk dancing we do is usually similar to barn dancing, but sometimes a little more complicated
(but there will be more experienced dancers there who will help you)
and like English ceilidh dancing (but less boisterous).
All dances are walked through first.
You don't need to be an expert (but it does help if you know your left from your right and are reasonably fit).
Wear sensible footware and casual clothes.
Do join us if you would like to try sociable folk dancing
Friday Folk is a club run by its members.
