| The club consists of 50-60 members ranging from trainee's through to experienced Advanced Divers. We cater for all types of divers with a varied diving and training programme. Meetings are on Thursday evenings at the Quarry Swimming Pool from 8.00p.m and afterwards in The Olde Bucks Head Pub in Frankwell approx 9.00p.m. We offer a variety of training from cross over courses for already qualified divers from other organisations, to initial Diving Tuition for those who have never taken the plunge and we now also offer Snorkelling Courses. We would recommended that those new to the sport of scuba sign up for a try dive before signing up for a course. This costs just £10 to cover costs A Try Dive is a chance to get your head wet and try scuba diving in a safe and controlled environment. If you want to come along to the pool and be teamed up with an experienced and qualified diver, you are more than welcome, please note that Try Dives have to be booked in advance, and do incur a small charge to help with costs of equipment and air ! All equipment will be supplied. Except, your Swim Suit, Towel and T-Shirt. If you have your own mask and fins please feel free to bring them along. You'll have a brief talk on how to use the equipment, safe diving practices plus signals to use under the water. Give it a go, you may like it !
