| Single File is a non-profit making walking club. Do you have a free Sunday morning and feel like getting some fresh air and exercise, then why not come on Single File walk. We do walks most Sunday mornings and during the Summer do mid-week evening walks. Walks are organised by members for the members and cover Herts, Beds and Bucks. Each walk costs £1.00 and their is no membership fee. Walks are usually 5-6 miles and now and again we do longer walks of 8 miles or more. In addition too our regular walks we also do some social events. All walks start at 11am prompt, unless otherwise stated. Long walks usually start at 10:30am prompt. Always arrive 15 mins before the start of the walk, so that the walk can start promptly and on time. Benefits of Walking Walking on a regular basis contributes to a healthier lifestyle. Walking has been shown to help reduce the risk of cardio-vascular disease, help control weight and strengthen bones. It is an activity that is accessible to all ages as a way of keeping active. Walking is a free form of travel and exercise that is open to everyone regardless of age, sex, religion, or culture. You can start walking today, and no one has to teach you how to do it.
