Activity Synchronisation


  If you have an on-line database of your Clubs Activities, Activity Exchange can be automatically synchronised with it.


This means that as you add, delete or modify Activities on your own system, Activity Exchange is automatically kept in sync.

This is done by setting up a special web page on your Web Site which Activity Exchange interrogates once a day to get a complete list of your Activities. Activity Exchange then makes such changes as are needed to the copies of your Activities on Activity Exchange.

(The format used for this is the XML Format, the specification for this is here XML Specification).

The advantages to your Club are many. Amongst them are that you will get a much bigger presence on the Internet and so make it much easier for people to find you. Another big advantage is that you can use this to share your events with other clubs if you want to.

Once set up this method needs no admin effort at all. It just runs automatically and does the job.
