Activity Exchange offers free Email Forwarding. Q. What is Email Forwarding? A. When Activity Exchange sends out an Email on behalf of the Club is does so from an Email Address made from the Clubs Name. For example, if your club was called My Club then Activity Exchange would send Email as being from MyClub@ActivityExchange.com. This works well but there is a snag. If someone replies to one of these mails then that email will not get delivered as the MyClub@ActivityExchange.com Email address is not a real one. Email Forwarding fixs this problem by forwarding any Emails sent to MyClub@ActivityExchnage.com to the Clubs main Email Address. Q. What email will I get? A. There are two kinds of email that you might get that you would not get without it. The first is replies from members who have been send an email by Activity Exchange. The second is a report from an Internet Email Server telling you that a message could not be delivered. This is often because of a slightly mis-spelt email address or perhaps because that email address is no longer valid. Getting these allows you to keep your list of members up-to-date. Q. Will I get more Spam through Email Forwarding? A. It is unlikely. This is not an email address that is shown anywhere public for spammers to find. Q. How much does it cost? A. It is a free service. Q. How do I get this Enabled? A. It is enabled by default. If it has been previously Disabled and you want it Enabled then someone with the Master Password needs to Edit the Clubs settings and turn this feature on. Q. How do I get this Disabled? A. If you want it Disabled then someone with the Master Password needs to Edit the Clubs settings and turn this feature off. |
