Q. What are Group AccessCodes? A. A Group AccessCode is one that is for the use of a group of members which could be all of them. It identifies the club you belong to and what level of access you are allowed to your clubs information. Q. How long do Group AccessCodes last? A. Normally they last until the end of the month following the month that they are issued. They can be set to last to any date. If you have a special requirement then please contact us. Q. Do I have to remember my Group AccessCode and enter it every time I visit Activity Exchange? A. If you tick the "Remember Me on this computer" box on the Home Page then Activity Exchange will remember any AccessCodes you put in including your Group AccessCode. Q. When are Group AccessCodes made? A. Normally on the 10th of each month. Q. Can my Group AccessCodes be changed? A. Yes they can. This may be needed if they have been compromised or are being abused. Please contact us if you need this. Q. What levels of Group AccessCode are they? A. There are three. User, Organiser and Master. Q. What do the different levels of AccessCode allow you to do? A. User allows you to view Private or Hidden Activities or other content such as Picture Albums. Organiser allows you to do the same as User and you can add content and change content you've added. Master allows you to do the same as Organiser and you can change any content that's been added by anyone and you can alter the Clubs details. Q. What are the advantages to the Club in Group AccessCodes? A. Group AccessCodes are very easy to distribute. All you have to do is to put them in your club Bulletin or Newsletter. This takes the same amount of effort regardless of how many members you have. Q. Are there any disadvantages to a Club in Group AccessCodes? A. Yes. They do not allow you to so easily identify who has added content in your clubs name and they must have some expiry for security which means people will have to periodically re-enter them. Q. Can I choose my Group AccessCodes? A. Not normally. This is in the interest of security. However if you have special requirements then do please contact us. Q. Where can I use a Group AccessCode? A. Anywhere that Activity Exchange prompts for a AccessCode. The box on the Home Page would be a good place. Q. Are there alternatives to Group AccessCodes? A. Yes there are.
