| Welcome to Suffolk IVC. If you are looking for a Club that has a variety of activities and where you get to know other people and generally have some fun then Suffolk IVC could be for you. Activities could include walks, parties, games (indoor and outdoor), concerts – pop, classical etc, barbecues, sport, visits to historic buildings, interesting talks, weekends away with lots more activities possible. We often hold Newcomer Evenings and would encourage you to come along to one. You can also go to the events listed in the so you are sampling the Club before you join. Activities do not cost anything unless there is a formal admission fee (i.e. theatre ticket) or an amount is stated. The more new members we have the better, so please phone, text or e-mail to ask for or information. You will receive a Bulletin to your home postal address. (See below regarding the use of the phone number). The Club has reciprocal arrangements with all other IVC’s in the country, so Members can visit other places and enjoy activities of the other Clubs. It doesn't matter when you join your membership lasts from 12 months from when your application is accepted. You can come along and even find out why it is called IVC! It started a long time ago, yet it works in the same way today leading to social interaction and activities! Please do get in touch if you like the idea of this Club. Once a member you can influence it, helping shape its future. The phone number is a mobile telephone held by a committee member. You will probably need to leave a message or send a text, so please provide your home address so we can send you a bulletin. You could alternatively ask for a return text or call to find out more information first and find out if there is a Newcomers Event arranged.
